The Microcell HC thermocontroller is usually controlled by the measuring device via a serial, RS232 connection. However, most modern PCs don't offer have a native serial port anymore.
This kit contains a high-quality USB<->Serial converter. The also required connection cable comes with the Microcell HC thermocontroller.
